WHY SPRAY TAN?
As our knowledge of skin cancer increases, it's become a well known fact that UV rays from the sun and tanning beds cause cellular damage that can lead to skin cancer and premature aging. At Studio Salt we use natural spray tanning products, loaded with ingredients that are good for tanning and good for your skin. With ingredients like aloe and chamomile our spray tanning products can be used on even the most sensitive of skin types.
WHAT TO EXPECT
All products used are Bronzed Berry, a woman owned company specializing in small batch production of luxury spray tanning solutions. Bronzed Berry products are made in the USA, vegan, gluten-free, biodegradable, and cruelty free. Natural and certified organic ingredients are used when possible. All formulas follow strict EU standards for ingredient selection. The only ZERO dye solutions on the market currently, leaving you with a natural glow.

SPRAY TAN DO'S & DONT'S

THE DAY OF YOUR TAN:
DO
Shower- make sure to scrub off lotions, perfumes, and oils.
Wear natural deodorant
Wear loose fitting clothing and flip flops
DON'T
Apply lotion or oil- will act as a barrier to your tan
Shave- pores will remain open causing a freckled appearance
Apply clinical strength deodorant- creates pH disturbance
IMMEDIATELY AFTER YOUR TAN
DO
Wait until completely dry before getting dressed
Wear loose fitting clothing
DON'T
Wear a sports bra or other compression clothing. This will cause tan lines.
Get wet prior to when your tanning artist advises. This will remove your tan.
Touch your skin with your hands prior to showering. The solution can transfer to your hands and they may become discolored.
THE DAY AFTER YOUR TAN
DO
Shower- rinse off with luke warm water at the time designated by your tanning artist.
Apply lotion-use something without alcohol or parabens to prevent drying of skin and premature fading of tan.
Shave- use a new sharp razor to prevent injury to the skin and subsequent impurities in tan.
Pat Dry- rubbing your skin with a towel can cause premature fading of your tan.
Apply Sunscreen- spray tanning DOES NOT provide protection from UV rays.
DON'T
Exfoliate your skin- only do so when you are ready to remove your tan.
Wax- this will remove your tan.
