Some say floating is “a pregnancy must!” Floating allows you to escape the added stress and weight of pregnancy by being in a weightless environment, taking the strain off of your body. We have also heard testimonies that it is an awesome way to bond with your baby. (if you are high risk pregnancy, we do NOT recommend floating without your Doctors consent)
No clients under the age of 18 are permitted in the Float Room unless accompanied by a supervising adult.
Float sessions should be limited to a maximum of 90 minutes.
It is advised to eat an hour or two before you float.
Wait 7 washes after perming or coloring your hair.
Do not shave or wax 24 hours before float session.
Wait 14-21 days after getting a tattoo.
Our float tank manufacturer has determined a weight limit of 300lbs.
FAQS
You’ve Got Questions — We've Got Answers
Our clients are our passion, and we go the extra mile to make sure they’re satisfied. Want to know more? Check out the list of common questions below and let us know if you’d like more information.
WHY FLOAT?
It's likely to be the most relaxing thing you've ever experienced.
You won't be fighting gravity. The 1200 pounds of therapeutic Epson salt in the water takes care of that while you lie on your back.
The water is kept at 93.5 degrees. This is skin-receptor neutral, which means you lose track of where your body ends and the water begins.
Your ears stay just below the water, and the tanks are insulated against sound (disposable earplugs provided).
It turns out that when you're not fighting gravity or constantly taking in information your body has a lot of extra resources at its disposal.
Your mind is free to mull things over without distractions, your brain pumps out dopamine and endorphins, and your body gets to rest, de-stress and heal.
